Hollywood Improv and Laugh Factory Hollywood are both iconic Hollywood comedy venues, and on any given weekend both will have A-list talent on stage. The Improv at 8162 Melrose leans toward a more polished, industry-friendly experience with comfortable seating and a focus on headliner showcases. Laugh Factory Hollywood brings a slightly more energetic, variety-show feel — the room runs hot and the crowds tend to be louder and more responsive. Both book from the same pool of elite touring talent. The Improv is where you go for a refined comedy evening. The Laugh Factory is where you go to feel the energy of a packed Hollywood room.
