Hollywood Improv and Westside Comedy Theater serve almost entirely different comedy audiences. The Improv is the headliner stand-up club — polished shows with name talent in a comfortable Melrose venue. Westside Comedy Theater is Santa Monica's home for improv, sketch, and experimental comedy — a creative space where performers collaborate and audiences experience comedy in formats beyond traditional stand-up. The Improv is the safe bet for a great stand-up night. Westside is the adventurous choice for audiences who want something different.
