The Function Comedy Club and Brea Improv represent independent vs. chain comedy in Southern California. The Function has built its reputation through sharp curation and a strong community following. Brea Improv leverages the national Improv brand to bring touring headliners to Orange County. The Function's shows feel more curated and personal. Brea's feel more like a guaranteed night of professional comedy. If you want to discover what's next in SoCal comedy, The Function is your club. If you want to see someone you already know and love, Brea has them on the calendar.
