Comedy Cellar and Bushwick Comedy Club represent the establishment vs. the DIY underground. The Cellar is the most famous comedy club in the country, a place where the biggest names in comedy test material in front of 100 people. Bushwick Comedy Club is the scrappy Brooklyn alternative, rooted in the borough's creative energy and community spirit. The Cellar experience is about witnessing greatness in an intimate setting. Bushwick is about discovering new voices and being part of a scene. Both are essential to NYC's comedy ecosystem — the Cellar is where comics arrive, and clubs like Bushwick are where they're born.
